Piano City was born from the vision of the Major League DJz, trailblazers who helped
take Amapiano from township corners to global stages. Their idea was simple: create a space where talent speaks louder than spectacle, where the music leads, and where the genre’s rising voices get the spotlight they deserve Piano City Season 2 came back with a splash.
Last year, we took things up a level with a brand-new set inspired by Lucky Star’s heritage and our unmistakable ocean identity. The upgraded look and feel created a bold, culturally resonant backdrop for rising stars, giving the platform fresh energy and unmistakable Lucky Star flavour. We had Nvcho, Naledi Aphiwe, Sykes, Njelic and so many more, each bringing their unique sound, energy.
